Therapy
Therapy offers a dedicated space to talk, to be heard, to relate, and to make sense of the past and the present. People come to counselling for many different reasons, and with a wide variety of aims. Some people want support through a difficult time in their life, though bereavement, or with trauma, depression or anxiety. Some people want to change a particular behavioural or relational pattern, or to develop a greater understanding of themselves. If you feel you would benefit from talking confidentially about any challenges you might be experiencing, whatever they might be, please get in touch with me for more information, or to book in an initial consultation.

Services
Initial Consultation
An initial consultation is an opportunity for us to meet and see whether we feel we would work well together. I run an initial assessment to understand a bit more about you and what you want from therapy and it is an ideal time for you to ask any questions you might have about counselling or the way I work.
A 50 minute Initial Consultation session is £60.00
Psychotherapy
Weekly, or twice weekly, psychotherapy provides an opportunity to develop a working alliance in which we can make meaning from your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. We can process, at your pace, challenges and experiences that may have seemed insurmountable or overwhelming, and explore options for growth. Therapy is a collaborative process, so the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of facilitating change.Psychotherapy for individuals is £60.00
per 50 minute session
Relationship Counselling
Relationship counselling provides a dynamic in which to explore difficulties experienced within a couple. The therapy involves identifying and learning about unhelpful repetitive behaviours, and developing tools for an alternative. It provides an objective and non-judgemental space to speak honestly together. Couples counselling can be of huge benefit in many situations or stage of your relationship. For example, therapy is a resource that can be used whether parties are dedicated to resolving current difficulties or looking for an amicable way to end a relationship or co-parent.
Relationship Counselling is £70.00 per 50 minute session.
Longer sessions can be arranged.
Group Therapy
A therapy group offers the opportunity to come together and form a community of people interested in how we exist and relate to one another. The group is facilitated to form a safe, yet challenging, exploratory and therapeutic environment. It is effective for people experiencing relational challenges as well as those curious to experience themselves in a new light in a fresh environment. Fostering a unique atmosphere of community, altruism and learning, group members can gain greater understanding of themselves in the world while supporting others in doing the same.
Group Therapy starts from £20.00 per session
COVID-19
Due to the pandemic, I am currently working remotely.
I have been working this way for some years with clients who cannot attend my practice for whatever reason, and I have trained specifically in remote therapeutic work.
I work with my clients to find the best way of holding remote sessions, with the option of either video or telephone sessions.

About Me
I am a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Certified Transactional Analyst (PgDip, MSc, CTA(P)).
I work predominantly using Relational TA, though my approach is integrative and pluralistic. This means I am also informed by other methods and theories, to best suit the needs of the individual. These include Humanistic, Psychoanalytic and Attachment-based approaches.
In my work I provide a safe, containing, confidential and empathic space, in which we can explore whatever it is that has brought you into therapy.
I specialise in working with relational and relationship difficulties, attachment, trauma and loss.
My practice is non-discriminatory and LGBT+ affirmative, with respect for the individuality, experience and value of each client.
I belong to the following institutes and professional bodies: UKCP; BACP; Metanoia Institute; IARTA; and EATA.
